AI-based Countermeasure for Irregular Situations in Autonomous Vehicles
Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is essential in developing autonomous vehicles, enabling them to perceive, interpret, and navigate complex environments. Advanced algorithms support real-time decision-making, sensor fusion, object detection, and path planning. Machine learning models, particularly deep learning, help vehicles process data from cameras, LiDAR, and other sensors to enhance safety and efficiency. AI also improves vehicle behavior in dynamic situations through adaptive control systems. This integration is crucial for achieving fully autonomous driving, reducing human error, and shaping future transportation. The talk explores AI applications in mitigating and countering irregular situations in highly automated driving.
